As a Muslim woman living in Pittsburgh, our founder experienced firsthand the struggle of searching for high-quality Islamic wear that was both stylish and accessible. The city’s diverse and vibrant atmosphere offered countless fashion options, yet finding a store dedicated to modest, elegant, and affordable Islamic clothing was nearly impossible. This gap in the market sparked an idea—why not create a space where others facing the same challenge could find everything they need in one place?  
That vision became Sue’s Closet, a store built on the belief that fashion should be both modest and beautiful. What started as a personal need quickly grew into a mission to help others feel confident in their clothing choices without sacrificing their values. Our collection is thoughtfully curated to provide a range of abaya styles, hijabs, khimars, and traditional Islamic garments that cater to every occasion.
